Education
We believe that education is the foundation of empowerment.
At SDF, we provide access to tutoring, language support, school supplies, digital literacy, and mentorship for newcomers, immigrant families, and underserved children and communities.
Whether it’s helping a child succeed in school or supporting a woman in upgrading her skills, we’re here to make learning accessible and inclusive for all.
Health
Health is a human right-not a privilege.
We assist individuals and families in navigating Canada’s healthcare system by offering health awareness workshops, mental health support, wellness programs, and access to essential services.
Our focus is especially on immigrant women who often face barriers to culturally safe and affordable healthcare. We aim to create a space where healing-mental, emotional, and physical-is possible.
Our Projects

A short-term consultancy session aimed at identifying barriers faced by the transgender community in accessing skill development and migration opportunities in Khanewal. This study, conducted by the Social Development Foundation (SDF), seeks to promote inclusive and equitable development.

We are delighted to announce the successful completion of a Free Medical Camp, jointly organized by the Social Development Foundation (SDF) and Family Hospital Khanewal. This initiative was designed to provide accessible, quality healthcare services to underserved communities, ensuring they receive essential medical support at no cost.
During the camp, a wide range of free healthcare services were offered, including:
- Ultrasound Examinations
- Doctor Consultations
- Family Planning Services
- Laboratory Tests
- Free Distribution of Medicines
- Free Contraceptives (LARC and SARC)
The camp witnessed a significant turnout, with many patients benefiting from timely diagnoses, treatments, and professional guidance for ongoing care. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the dedicated medical team and volunteers whose efforts made this initiative a success and positively impacted the community.

In Collaboration with the Social Development Foundation (SDF)
A successful Breast Cancer Awareness and Screening Week was organized at Family Hospital Khanewal in partnership with the Social Development Foundation (SDF). The initiative aimed to educate the community about breast cancer, its early warning signs, preventive measures, and the critical importance of timely screening.
Throughout the week, women were guided on self-examination techniques and encouraged to prioritize early detection to reduce the risks associated with late-stage diagnoses. Free medical consultations and breast screenings were also offered, ensuring access to essential health services for all.
This campaign marked a meaningful step toward empowering the community with vital health knowledge and preventive care-because early detection saves lives.

We were honored to host the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) team at the Social Development Foundation (SDF) office. The visit provided an opportunity to showcase our ongoing community-based initiatives aimed at improving health, education, disaster response, and overall community development.
The JICA delegation commended SDF’s commitment to grassroots development and recognized the sustainable, self-help-driven approach we have adopted to empower local communities. Their words of encouragement further strengthen our resolve to continue working toward a more inclusive, resilient, and empowered society.
